Lowe's Home Improvement in Apex, North Carolina

I shop here all the time so I know where everything is. The employees know me and I like that. Do not try and turn left on Beaver Creek Commons Drive. Really.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LOWE'S IN APEX NC. I repeat, do not buy from this Lowe's. I signed a contract for a home improvement project. I was told that the supplies would be ordered and an independent contractor would contact me, submit paperwork to get an approval and then begin my project. The time estimate from start to finish was supposed to be 5 weeks. I was required to pay $15,000 in advance. DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE. The contractor delayed 6 weeks in submitting the permit paperwork and lied about submitting it on an earlier date. It is now 7 weeks from when I signed my contract and paid my $15,000 and I am not even on the contractor's schedule. When they finally call, I am likely looking at an additional 2 month delay. In the end, I will have paid $15,000 only to get my project done 4 months later. I have called the Apex Lowe's about 15 times and have been transferred from person to person. Nobody is able to help me or fix my situation. They have been completely useless. They were extremely responsive prior to signing the contract and paying my money. This all ended after the payment was received. I also called their 'CPO' line and spoke with at least 5 people. Although they were sympathetic to my situation, none of them could help. They also refused to provide me with the name and telephone number of their supervisor. I was told to simply continue to wait until the contractor calls me. Awful customer service at all levels from the store employees to the store managers to the corporate staff to the contractors they use. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOWE'S IN APEX NC.
