South Carolina received a familiar visitor. A massive 12′ Great White Shark was detected off South Carolina's most popular beach. This particular shark is no stranger to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. You could say she is a regular visitor. 'Freya' was tagged by Ocearch in March of 2021. Last week she returned to her old swimming grounds. According to Channel 9, officials call the ping a Z ping and that means the tag didn't occur above water long enough for them to tell the precise location. Ocearch hopes to tag as many sharks as possible on the North Carolina and South Carolina coast.
