Building inspectors Monday morning were at the site of a North Myrtle Beach condo rental where stairs collapsed over the weekend, injuring a woman on them. Inspectors were also at the Sea Cabin Condos on North Ocean Boulevard Friday when the collapse happened, city spokesperson Ryan Fabbri said by text Monday. Temporary stairs were installed over the weekend, but they are for emergency use only, according to Fabbri. It is expected that a building permit will be issued Monday for the stairs to be repaired or replaced, he said.
